UltraStream Filter Life Expectancy

Every water filter has a lifespan, and the UltraStream is no exception. The UltraStream Replacement Cartridge is rated for up to 3,000 litres of filtered water. Based on average household use, this translates to:

• 8 litres per day – suitable for a family of 4

To ensure you’re always drinking clean, high-performing water, we recommend replacing the cartridge every 12 months, or sooner if your daily use exceeds the average.

Environmental Notice: To reduce landfill waste, UltraStream Replacement Cartridges for Stainless Steel and Black models are now shipped without the stainless-steel sleeve by default. Please retain the sleeve and cap from your current cartridge and transfer them to the new one.

In Australia, we do not currently have a method of disposing of these types of filters for recycling, due to the hazardous waste they contain after filtering, so they will need to be thrown in the garbage bin and allowed to break down slowly over time.
